A pencil sketch by Thomas Hennell (1903–45) of a three-legged wheelwright's stool on which a wheel could be 'thrown' to repair spokes. Written by the artist in the lower left hand corner are the words 'Wheelwright's bench Hawkridge Exmoor'. The sketch was purchased from the artist's sister.
