Descripción
A tinned steel bucket which is wider at the top than the bottom but has a small aperture towards one side. The rim at the base acts as a stand. There is a moveable carrying handle. Another handle near the base is used in conjunction with a lip near the top in order to tip up the bucket for emptying it. The bucket was used for milking, the design of the top helps to prevent dirt falling into the milk. This item was used at Hertfordshire College of Agriculture and Horticulture, St. Albans.
