- DescripciónThis Persian bell is probably for a peregrine 'tercel', a male falcon. It was attached to the falcon's leg by means of the red leather strip, known as a 'bewit', which has been attached to the bell using the 'Indian method'. The earliest accounts of falconry, the art of hunting prey using trained birds, date back to 2000 BC.
