This beaker was manufactured by Aynsley of Longton to commemorate the 1911 coronation of King George V and his consort Queen Mary. It is white glazed pottery, with colour transfer-printed decorated incorporating portraits of the King and Queen with a floral design and Commonwealth symbols. An inscription on the front reads 'To Commemorate the Coronation of King George and Queen Mary, June 22nd 1911', and an inscription on the base reads 'Aynsley, England.' It was initially collected by a Miss A. H. Walker.
