A bridle is the part of a horse's harness which is attached to the head for controlling the animal. This bridle was made by Coachbuilders and Harness Makers of Vachel Road, Reading. It was used by Mr W. Jones of White House Farm in Whitley, Reading, from 1890 until 1934 when the farm was pulled down to make way for Whitley Housing estate.
