Now artist Colin Newman takes us right into a tidy barnyard in 'The Farm Cottage', plate Six in the series. Sparrows and plump brown hens peck at kernels of corn, while two rabbits cautiously peer about a fence post as the fox trots by the cottage's whitewashed walls. Meanwhile, its human occupants are nowhere to be seen, evidently unaware of the bustling activity in their backyard. But thanks to the keen eye of Mr. Newman, we do have an up-close look at their many visitors.'
