This is an unusual type of hoe blade, which consists of a double blade, presumably for weeding both sides of a furrow at the same time. It appears to be blacksmith-made.

Each blade is 5.5 inches long, and their inner edges are 2.5 inches apart. The whole tool has a maximum width of 13.5 inches, and is 6 inches deep. It is obviously blacksmith made. // See 53/587.'
