Descripción
This fork was used for making witchert walls in the Haddenham district, Buckinghamshire. Many walls in villages in that area of Buckinghamshire (Haddenham, Long Crendon and Chearsley for example) are made of a local type of mud to which straw is added and bound together - this is 'witchert'. This type of building has dyed out, though many buildings remain.
