Descripción
This is a wrought iron chimney crane with two movements. It consists of an upright which would swing to and fro over the fire. To this is attached a rigid arm from which a ratchet hanger or pot hook would be suspended. There is also a moveable arm from which another pot could be suspended. This arm moves around a pivot and can be fixed at various positions. The crane belonged to the donor's late husband and it is not known where he got it from.
