Descripción
This is a frame saw, or felloe saw, used for cutting along curved lines. The piece of wood to be sawn was fixed at an upward slant or horizontally in a bench vice and the workman grasped the saw by its two handles and sawed up and down with the teeth held away from him. This saw was used by the donor, a carpenter and cabinet maker, at Kidlington, Oxfordshire.
