Description
This is a three-wheeled cart used to transport dairy produce, such as milk, butter, cream and eggs, for sale. It consists of frame made of metal bars, with a wooden floor and a metal canopy. It was made by T. Tingley Ltd. of London in 1925. It has various inscriptions, including ‘Pure Milk from Local Farms, est. 1888’, ‘Butter Cream & Eggs, ‘G. Leach & Sons, Woodlands Dairy, Caversham’.
