This is an original poster for the 1987 Handmade Films production 'Withnail and I', which was directed by Bruce Robinson and starred Paul McGann and Richard E. Grant. The poster was designed by George Rowbottom, with artwork by Ralph Steadman. The film was set in the 1960s, and followed two unemployed actors who escaped their city flat for a week in the country.
