Description
A hay knife was used to cut slices of hay for animal feed. This hay knife has a large triangular blade, an angled shaft, and a heavy, turned, wooden handle which has been bound with sisal twine in the centre. It was manufactured by Brades. It was used at Home Farm in Middle Assendon, Oxfordshire. The farm was originally part of the Stonor estate.
