A medium-sized brush with a tapering wooden handle and bristles bound with cord onto the handle. It is marked 'Blackfriars Brand Pure Bristle Made in England 6'. It is part of the Rumble Collection, and belonged to the donor's father. It dates from circa 1910. This type of brush was used for painting and varnishing.
