Four 5oz. yoghurt pots of various colours and brands and one 8oz. cream pot. These came to the museum from Marks & Spencer, Baker Street, London.

5 cartons: plastic; tin foil; good condition1) Inscribed on side: 'real fruit yoghurt' in green lettering on white background, with St. Michael trademark above, and price of '6p'; red foil lid with same inscription plus 'raspberry' [flavour]; 5 fl. oz. container made by Mono Containers Ltd. 2) Inscribed on side: 'real fruit yoghurt' in green lettering on white background, with St. Michael trademark above, and price of '6p'; orange foil lid with same inscription plus 'mandarin' [flavour]; 5 fl. oz. container made by Mono Containers Ltd. 3) Inscribed on side: 'grapefruit yoghurt' in black lettering on yellow background, with St. Michael trademark above, and price of '6p'; yellow foil lid; 5 fl. oz. container made by Lily Cups and Containers Ltd. 4) Inscribed on side: 'natural yoghurt' in blue and black lettering on white background, with St. Michael trademark above and price of '5p'; green foil lid; 5 fl. oz. container made by Lily Cups and Containers Ltd. 5) Inscribed on side: 'fresh double cream pasteurised' in blue lettering on white background, with St. Michael trademark above, and price of '19p'; blue foil lid with white inscription; 8 fl. oz. container; manufacturer not known.

It is printed in blue on a whitebackground and is sealed with blue tin foil lid. Use: For packing dairy products for the retail trade.’
