Description
Two graining brushes for clipping into a graining roller (77/275) and used for making a wood grain and knot effect on painted wood. They have badger hair bristles set into a metal case with wooden inserts. Each case has a clip for attaching to the roller. The brushes belonged to the donor's uncle, John Hillier, who was a master painter and decorator in Reading in the 1930s.
