Description
This is a beet knife, a harvesting tool used for cutting root crops. It consists of a long straight blade with a right-angled straight hook at the end, and a wooden handle. It was was made by A. Morris and Sons of Dunsford, Devon, and was probably used for turnips. The donor acquired it from an ironmongers shop in Bridgerule, Devon.
