Description
This iron cooking pot is cauldron shaped with three feet and a handle which seems to be an addition. It was in the donor’s family for at least sixty years, and in her mother’s family before that, and was used in a farmhouse and inn on the Yorkshire side of the Pennines. This type of pot is also known as a ‘cauldron pan’ and it was known to the donor in her youth as the ‘coffee pan’.
