Description
This garden roller was used for rolling lawns. It was used and probably made by a stone worker on the edge of the Cotswolds. It was probably made in about 1800.

MERL miscellaneous note - 'For rolling lawns used by a worker in stone on the edge of the Cotswolds possibly it was hewn out by him. This man died 26 years ago aged 90.'
