Description
An iron castrating clamp, a veterinary tool used to prevent bleeding when removing the testicles from an animal not used for breeding. Castration was believed to make the animal quieter and fatter. This clamp was removed from Whiteknights House on the Whiteknights Campus of the University of Reading.
