Description
The donor thought this was the leg of a squat front chair but it is more likely to be the spindle for the back of a chair. It is made from beech and has very symmetrical turning. (See 51/64)

[inch] shorter, the most symmetrical of all in the lathe-work and with a fine piece of ball-turning supported by two waists in the centre.'
