James Dixon and Sons (Manufacturer)

This is a cartridge loader, used when preparing cartridges for hunting. It was used at Great Milton, Oxfordshire, and was made by James Dixon & Sons, of Sheffield. It dates from c. 1870-1880, and is inscribed with the letter 'M' on the side.
