Beschreibung
A 'hoof knife' or 'paring knife', used for cutting away the horny part of a horse's hoof. It has a curved blade with a hooked tip, and a bone handle. The knife originally came from Sacrewell Farm in Thornhaugh, Cambridgeshire. It is part of the collection of John Lester Gilbert, a botanist and local historian from Wansford in Cambridgeshire.
