His family is a useful reminder that heritable traits are not limited to livestock. Clark had six sons and two daughters. One of his daugters became mother to notable portrait artist Albert Henry Collings. Of his sons, one became a heraldic painter, one a painter and decorator, and the remaining four worked as artists. His youngest son traded alongside him as a painter of livestock.</P><P>MERL 64/49<B style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"><SPAN lang=EN style='FONT-SIZE: 12pt; FONT-FAMILY: "Source Sans Pro"; LINE-HEIGHT: 115%; mso-fareast-font-family: "Source Sans Pro"; mso-bidi-font-family: "Source Sans Pro"'><O:P></O:P></SPAN></B></P></SPAN></SPAN></P></DIV>
