Beschreibung
Nothing is known of the origin of this planter, a modern version of the dibble used for boring holes to plant bulbs or seed potatoes. Similar tools were still advertised in gardening papers in the 1950s. It consists of a wooden shaft with a T-shaped handle, and a metal head with a cylinder for boring the holes and a projection on each side for pushing the tool down with the feet.
