Beschreibung
This is a paring chisel which has had the end of the blade ground to make a lathe tool. It has a typical chisel handle and fixing. The blade is convex, and 0.2 inches wide, and the name 'F.C.Powell' is stamped on the handle. The tool was used by the donor's father, who was a wheelwright and carpenter in Braishfield, Hampshire. It was used for making grooves in turned ware.
