Beskrivelse
This wooden gingerbread mould, made of beech wood, is incised with a design of a man and a woman in dress that might be Jacobean on one side and two stylised birds on the other. It was given to Lavinia Smith by Mr John Denniss, whose family had been bakers in East Hendred for 200 years.

MERL 'Catalogue index' card – 'This mould was given to Miss Smith by Mr. John Denniss of East Hendred (Berkshire). The block measures 8.75 by 5 inches and is 1.1 inches wide. On one side, are two figures, a man and a woman in dress that might be Jacobean, and on the other two stylised birds.
