<DIV STYLE="text-align:Justify;font-family:Georgia;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;font-size:16;color:#000000;"><P><SPAN><SPAN>3. <B>Box of dominoes</B><P>The game of dominoes was introduced into England from France towards the end of the eighteenth century. Along with other popular games such as cribbage and billiards dominoes was commonly played by those who spent their evenings in the company of friends at a local inn. During periods of good weather the more energetic could often be found our of doors playing skittles or quoits. The games played at village inns sometimes helped to encourage greater social contact between the regular patrons of one village inn and those of another, with the more enthusiastic sportsmen amongst them organizing competitions between the various different teams.<P>65/59</SPAN></SPAN></P></DIV>
