This print is entitled 'A Bird's Eye View of Smithfield Market. It was designed by Pugin and Rowlandson, engraved by Bluck, and published by R. Ackermann of London in 1811. The print shows various kinds of livestock, set against a London backdrop showing the towers and spires of churches and the dome of St. paul's Cathedral. It is one of a collection of paintings and prints thought to date from the last quarter of the 18th century to c.1860.
