Beskrivelse
This is a round half bushel basket made of white willow and was used for apples (similar baskets were used for cherries). It was used by a merchant, rather than a farmer, in Herefordshire prior to 1951. It is of a heavy construction, and has the words 'W-M & Co Cardiff' painted in red and blue on it.
