This milk can, oval in shape and made of tinned metal, has a stamp on the lid and a small bracket inside for measure. It has a hinged lid and a handle for carrying. It was used at Coley Park Farm, Reading, for carrying milk from the dairy to the retail trade. Milk would be sold by measure direct from the can or transferred to smaller cans.
