Beskrivelse
A tie iron for supporting a roof truss. It consists of a long, flat bar of iron, bent up at one end and down at the other, with six punched holes, and an additional staple piece. It was removed from an eighteenth century barn at Paddocks Barn in Northfield, Surrey.
