This fire basket is made of sections of iron riveted together, and would have stood on a pair of firedogs. It was made by A. Price, a blacksmith of Marlow, Buckinghamshire, circa 1945–60, and is part of a large collection of traditional craft products acquired from the British Council in 1960.
