Object research project, Further Afield, June 2024 - These items refer to tax records and receipts from the early days of taxation. Whilst these items have been deaccessioned, the accession file contains extensive information on the history of taxation which might be useful to a researcher in the field. There are also photos of the documents which may have historical relevance if the originals no longer exist.
