This is a notebook case with a hard cover and pink inner lining. On the front is a coloured portrait of a boy. It came from the shed at the bottom of the garden of 6 Donnington Road, Reading, the home of Miss Flood who lived in this house all her life. The house was built in the 1880's and she died in 1987 at over 100 years of age. Miss Flood's father made bee keeping equipment and cabinets. The Berkshire Bee Keepers met on his premises. The depositor, Michael Shelly, was executor of the estate. His wife's grandfather was Miss Flood's brother.
