- Sussex plough
- 59/12
- This Sussex type turn wrest plough, without gallows, was last used at Rodmill Farm, Eastbourne. The museum holds little other information about its origins or places of use - the donor purchased it and fitted it with new parts, but was forced to stop using it, despite its good working order, to to a lack of horses on the farm.

- Archival historyLetter, W. Marsom to Mr Jenkins, 4th April 1957 - 'I believe that when you were showing me round your implement section on my visit in September last, I was telling your that I had a Sussex foot turnrist here at Eastbourne + that you mentioned that if ever I should wish to dispose of it you would be pleased to accept it. // I am sorry to say that I am now faced with that situation having left the farm where it is lodged + have no further place to remove it + am anxious that it should come into worthy hands, for it is in perfect condition, as new, + as I said, I had it set up with new working parts hoping to use it. But alas its the mack of Horses that has defeated me...'
