Disability information
Creating an environment accessible and inclusive to everyone
The University of Reading welcomes all students and has a dedicated Disability Advisory Service which offers advice and guidance to students with any disability, mental health condition or specific learning difficulty (SpLD).
The University has a firm commitment to diversity and inclusion, whereby inclusion, diversity and disability are fully embedded into our working culture, and visible in policies, processes, and our behaviour framework. We welcome all students and staff with disabilities.
"To be a part of the University of Reading, means to be Inclusive!"
The Student Essentials web pages provide a comprehensive guide for current and prospective students relating to disabilities. The information is set out in blocks to help you find what you are looking for. Please contact DAS if you have any questions or can't find what you are looking for...
Visit our Human Resources pages to find out about the support you can get as a member of staff with a disability. Or how you can support disabled staff, as a line manager or colleague. You may also be interested in joining our Disabled Staff Network as a disabled colleague or disability ally.
