Description
This is a chaff cutter, a mechanical device for cutting straw or hay into small pieces before being mixed together with other forage and fed to horses and cattle. This example has a wooden base with two front legs joined to a base plank, a curved iron blade, a metal four pronged fork and wooden handle attached with a metal chain.
