Teeswater cattle were a regional type that contributed to development of the Shorthorn breed. The 7-year-old's vital statistics were recorded on the print and included 'tail to poll' (top of the head), 'across huggins' (hip bone), and 'daylight under brisket' (the space beneath the breast).
